It's set on the outskirts of Cardiff but it's well worth the taxi fare to enjoy the idyllic setting with exposed beams, open log fires, a silver and white restaurant and a tropical courtyard. The menu includes items such as crispy duck confit and free range loin of pork on mustard mash. Follow that with banana tart tatin, hot chocolate fondue or for a dessert with a difference, savory Welsh rarebit. A separate lunch menu too is available including a Sunday roast lunch. The inn also offers accommodation with a variety of suites and luxury rooms.
