Dimitris Pierides Museum of Contemporary Art is one of the best places to view the art style prevalent during the second world war and after it. Most of the artifacts on display count up to 1040, consisting mainly the works of Greek and Cyprus artists. Most of these comprise of paintings, sculptures, ceramics and other such media. The museum also has a library that funds and helps publish texts on Cypriot Archeology and 20th century Greek art.
