Situated in a prime position, this Greek restaurant offers a great view over the Danube to Gellert Hill and the Liberation Monument. In summer, the terrace is a wonderful sun-trap - make sure you bring your shades. The decor recalls holidays in Greece. The stucco on the walls is carved to resemble a white grotto. The blue and white checked tablecloths and foliage hanging from every available hook invoke an Aegean atmosphere. All the well-known favorites are here - moussaka, gyros (kebabs. Octopus makes an unusual starter for the adventurous and the aubergine in béchamel sauce is a lighter but nonetheless extremely tasty dish. A selection of meats for two people is a fun way to dine with a friend and the shrimps, sole and veal are all delicious too. Note that Greek salad is usually called Horiatiki in Greek restaurants. You could finish with sweet, sticky baklava and wash it down with & lt;i>retsina, Metaxa or ouzo.
