This bistro's retro vibe extends from their name to the lovely design lamps over the bar. Jaffa was the orange syrup in children's soda used during socialist times when the fruit itself was only a rare gift. The neighborhood is among the most progressive in town: Ráday street is half pedestrian cult area with several different stylish bars. Jaffa is a good venue for a night chat, good meal or simply to leave your partner on the terrace with a beer while you go shopping in the retro fashion shop next door. They serve reasonably priced menus for lunch and the á la carte menu is also attractive- offering sandwiches, vegetarian and local dishes as well.
