When the Lurdy Haz shopping mall opened, a large part of the top floor was given over to a food court. Stonehenge Pub is situated right opposite the hectic video games arcade and provides a chance to sit down and relax after the shopping frenzy. A vision of Stonehenge is painted onto the back wall in rather lurid colors. The mural is not exactly factually correct with three times too many stone pillars all of which look a bit thin. The chunky wooden tables and benches look like something prehistoric man would feel comfortable sitting on. The waiters are helpful but not intrusive and everyone is absorbed watching Eurosport on the television above the bar. The food is simple, unpretentious Hungarian bar food with potato soup or mozzarella and tomato salad for starters and then a selection of breaded and fried meats 'rantott' for main course. Turkey stuffed with ham and cheese is substantial and filling or you could try the fillet of fish.
