The quality of the food more than makes up for the busy atmosphere. The hummus with meat is considered a delicacy by most, along with its moussaka, and koubeh soup which is only served on Fridays in the summer. Everything is served with a hunk of onion, a whole chili pepper for the bravest diners, pickled cucumbers, and a hot pile of pitta bread replenished upon request. Since this is a place largely undiscovered by many tourists, don't expect silver service however you are guaranteed an authentic homemade feed at a good price.
