Hrói höttur is the Icelandic name for Robin Hood, and this restaurant is the Icelandic version of American fast food chains, circling the country. The location out of the centre, in the west part of town, seems rather strange and at a first glance not so promising, but as Hrói is also a bar the place has become a local for the suburb area of vesturbær/west end. Situated in a large office and supermarket building close by the sea, Hrói höttur caters for busy lunches and hurried dinners alike, and has managed to become quite popular amongst all kinds of crowds, though somehow they tend to be mainly of the male kind.
