Skólabrú is one of the many Icelandic restaurants offering a homely, dignified atmosphere in one of the city's oldest houses. With excellent service and an international, classy menu, Skólabrú can really claim distinction among Icelandic restaurants. However, this also means that this is a pleasure that does not come cheap. Nevertheless, it is highly recommendable, not least for the cosy cognac room on the second floor. A banquet room in the wine-cellar seats up to 50 guests at long-tables. The menu offers international cuisine, as well as the usual range of Icelandic specialties with emphasis on delicious fish dishes.
