Do not wait to be served in Mezzaluna, a small place near Duino. There are no waiters, but it is still worth coming here for lunch, as the food in this small corner of paradise is truly excellent and can be enjoyed far from the chaos and traffic of the city. Customers order at the bar and leave their name, when their name is called after a few minutes, they come back to pick up the food. The menu is typical with huge portions and ridiculously low prices, including grilled meat, potato dumplings, extraordinary cheeses, vegetables and omelets. There is a choice of wine and beer and an enchanting array of desserts, all homemade. There is also a park where kids can play. Do not miss out!
