This elegant two-story mall (the first in the city's history) is situated on the outskirts, just a stone's throw away from the Boschetto of Trieste, the so-called copse. Even the youngest in Trieste know all about it: one can spend a pleasant afternoon shopping or meeting with friends to the sound of soft background music. Not only does Il Giulia offer a variety of shops and pubs, but you can also meet with a travel agent, or visit the stationer's newsagent and tobacconist. Enjoy a gelato or swing by a fast food restaurant. You will not even be disappointed with the selection of goods, although they can sometimes be a little on the pricey side.
