You can leave Coin, cross the street and go directly into Upim. Once upon a time this shop would have been nothing to write home about, but since it has been part of the La Rinascente group, the shop itself has enjoyed a Renaissance. Fashionable clothing, although not too much so, excellent prices and good quality. The household section is great, especially for lovers of country style. You need patience as far as the service is concerned, not because the staff are impolite, but because there are just not enough of them, meaning there are long lines at the tills and limited help available. The prices are competitive. A second Upim outlet can be found at Barriera Vecchia seven, where you will a better home furnishings department although the store is not as central.
