Italy's most famous food, pasta, has been granted a museum of its own. On entry to Museo Nazionale delle Paste Alimentari, the visitor is given a portable CD player that explains all the exhibits in Italian, English, French, German and Japanese. The collection includes pasta making machines from the distant past to modern times, and prints and photos of people, whether famous or not, tucking into a good plate of pasta.
