Originally from Naples, the Urbano family moved to Florence to open their restaurant and pizzeria that has since become popular with students, families and tourist groups. Housed in a palazzo once owned by the Aldobrandini (family of Pope Clement VIII), this restaurant fills two floors, has an impressive wine cellar and makes the most incredible pizzas in Florence. One of the few pizzerias in the city that makes certified vera pizza - "true Neapolitan pizza". Reservations are a must for Saturday nights.
