Ristorante Paoli Florence, Italy

Just a few steps off Piazza Signoria, Paoli is an old-fashioned trattoria serving the dishes of Tuscan tradition. The Paoli family opened this restaurant in 1824, but at the beginning of 1900, it changed hands and was redecorated and frescoed. Nowadays, it is listed among the historical eating-places that the Municipality of Florence decided to preserve as a part of town life. Their menu features regional food including fresh pasta, "Tagliolini Paoli style" (pasta with ham and peas in a cream sauce) and several meat dishes.
