Jamaica is surrounded by beautiful beaches, Treasure Beach being one. This lovely spot on the island's South Coast is comprised of four coves; Frenchman's, Calabash Bay, Bully's Bay and Great Pedro Bay. Being here is like being transported back in time as it is nestled in a nice laid back rural village, where women still ride their donkeys to market. This is quite a sight, as their baskets (known as hampers) are laden with ground provisions such as yam and fruits. The district is also home to The Treasure Beach Hotel and Jakes, known as a vantage point from which to view spectacular sunsets.
