Traditional Japanese fare is to be found in this restaurant which seats only 36. Six rooms are tatami-style and seven have tables. The atmosphere is contemporary although tea-hut architecture has been incorporated in the individual rooms, adding an authentic touch. Tempura, shabu-shabu and sukiyaki courses are a must try. Popular items from the a la carte menu include gingko nuts, sashimi and marinated seafood. Bottles of wine, draft beer or sake accompany the meal.
