South Friars Bay, Saint Kitts, Saint Kitts and Nevis

This beach is one of the most beautiful on the island. Take the first dirt road on the right after going over the mountain and you will find paradise. The beach is clean, the water's pristine, good snorkelling can be found here and chairs and umbrellas are available for rent. There are three beach bars offering standard fare, Henley's Bar also offers full Caribbean lunches prepared by his wife. Choices include chicken, beans and rice, salads, barbecued ribs and occasionally fresh fish. Don't forget the hot sauce, it's fabulous. Eddy's Bar offers a variety of beer and cocktails. Be sure to try his rum punch with the freshly grated nutmeg. Both bars rent chairs and umbrellas and Eddy's has snorkelling equipment available as well. This is a great place to spend the day, relax with a book, take a long walk on the white sand beach, swim in the warm waters and end the afternoon with a great rum punch.
