"The Circus" is the centre of Basseterre. This roundabout was designed in Victorian architectural style and modelled after Piccadilly in London. The centre of the Circus is the Berkeley Memorial Clock, an ornate, cast-iron tower with four clock faces. This is a gathering spot for local taxi drivers. Many shops, banks and restaurants are here at The Circus making it a prime location.
