Miss June's Cuisine, Nevis, Saint Kitts and Nevis

About ten years ago, June Mestier, a Trinidadian chef decided to invite people into her home to sample her well-loved curry dishes. When the idea took off, Miss June as she is known, built a bigger house, and today regularly prepares a bounteous buffet for her guests. An evening at Miss June's is an event to remember. Starting with cocktails in her living room, the guests will retreat to the formal dining room for a five-course meal, including a buffet of more than 30 West Indian dishes. Following dinner, Miss June joins her guests at the bar for an evening of conversation and old island stories. It's a real island house party. Oprah and Steadman are great fans, and other celebs have been known to pop in for dinner. Do remember that Miss June only cooks by reservation.
