As the only grocery store on the island of Little Cayman, the Village Square Market is a thrifty traveler's salvation. In addition to selling groceries, it is also the local general store with products like fishing tackle, books and magazines, skin care items, and some hardware. Note that no alcohol can be sold in grocery stores on the Cayman Islands, so if you want to mix up a tropical drink, head next door to the liquor store (which also sells a variety of souvenirs). For a romantic evening on a budget, pick up some essentials and hit the beach- there is nothing like a picnic for two at sunset.
