Resembling the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, this large monument was built in 1969 with US purchased cement supposedly to be used for the construction of a new airport. Otherwise known to many as the "Victory Monument", it commemorates those who lost their lives in the war. Once you pay the entrance fee, you embark on a relatively easy climb to the top. If the architecture does not grab your attention, the view certainly will, spanning many miles in each direction.
