One of the old hands in nyonya cooking after almost 20 years in existence, this is a reliable choice minus the frills and premium price tags of more heavily promoted restaurants. Nyonya is also known as Peranakan cuisine, a distinct fusion of Chinese, Indian and Malay cooking styles distinct to the Straits. Tried-and-tested specialties such as pomfret curry, satay, hand-rolled lobak (pork rolls), cuttlefish in chili paste and spring rolls are fail-safe and delicious options. Wash it all down with a cold beer.
