For a taste of distinct Malay culture of mee goreng, nasi campur and other mouthwatering Malay delicacies, Warisan is the place. Look out for the faded yellow sign just opposite the Esplanade. Four flights up and your reward awaits. The décor is a bit faded, bearing worn out red tablecloths and curtains, gaudy yellow and pink plastic flowers and bored looking waiters. But the food speaks volumes by itself without these supporting factors. The tried and tested dishes include fried rice. On certain nights, you might even catch a glimpse of a Malay cultural performance happening next door.
