Artis offers winding paths, majestic trees and monumental historic buildings that give it a special, 19th-century atmosphere. The on-site zoo hosts more than 8000 animals, two museums, a planetarium and a magnificent aquarium. Courses ranging from astrology to drawing can also be taken here. In 1999, a new wing was opened, now with more room and the visitors have more to see! See website for complete list of attractions, admission prices, other visitor information and more.
