The pancake boat brings together two Dutch essentials; water or boats and pancakes! The boat has a beautiful interior for enjoying the Amsterdam Harbor and Dutch pancakes. A pancake buffet is set out with various toppings and side dishes; brunch cruises also offer sandwiches. Following the main course, ice cream is served. Don't miss the opportunity to try Dutch specialties like pancakes with bacon in them or stewed pears (a favorite side dish) in a wondrously homey environment while gazing at the harbor (this trip does not tour the canals). Cruises range from one to three hours, are very family-friendly and the upper deck has an outdoor terrace. Reservations staff (by telephone) is very thorough at describing where and when to board the boat.
