This restaurant is located in the Jordan area, which is filled to the brim with those famous Amsterdam canals and, if the weather permits it, you can enjoy your meal on the terrace overlooking two, yes, count them, two canals. You can have a nice drink at the bar before you sit down for your meal amidst the lovely Art Nouveau decor that is prevalent in Belhamel. Restaurant De Belhamel is one for people who like something different. The cuisine is French/Italian orientated but you can even go for some Dutch cuisine. The main dishes are quite special and include some game and fish dishes. You're best making reservations because this restaurant is understandably popular among locals for its intimate feel.
