Kafé Kampen is an informal, cozy and cheap café-restaurant in the old working-class area of Kampen. The interior is as diverse as the menu: all chairs and tables are different, and the food is Norwegian, Pakistani and continental. You can have everything from beef or cod to chicken dabo and all kinds of soups and salads. In the summer, people from all over town come here to enjoy a cold beer on the terrace. This place is within walking distance of the Munch museum that shows the work of famous Norwegian painter Edvard Munch; or if you like, you could go for a swim at the great Tøyenbadet outdoor baths, nearby.
