The Edinburgh Castle is located on the corner of Symonds Street and Newton Road. This is a big traditional pub-style watering hole, featuring karaoke evenings, big TV screens with non-stop sports, pool tables and a long row of poker machines to entertain a largely local, middle-aged crowd.
