Larsmart Waitakere, New Zealand (part of Auckland Guide)

This self-described "smallest department store in the world" is more of an emporium, and it seems to have a little bit of everything. Part of the Blockhouse Bay township, 20 minutes from Auckland, it is close to a number of other shops including a post office, a hardware store, and banks. It stocks tools, toys and games, a good selection of luggage, and a lot of other odds and ends. Well worth a look.
