With more than 20 different Codfish dishes, it's very fitting that Casa do Bacalhau translates directly to House of Codfish. Housed in a large 18th century building, you dine beneath a dome ceiling, all the better to enjoy your codfish. Some of the codfish selections include Shredded Raw Codfish, Breaded Codfish Tongues, Codfish with Large French Beans, Codfish Margarida da Praça Style, Codfish Zé do Pipo Style, Grilled Codfish on Charcoal, Codfish with Cabbage Tia Palmira Style, and Codfish Canelonis, just to name a few. If codfish isn't your thing you probably shouldn't come to this restaraunt, however, the restaurant does have a few things besides codfish on its menu.
