There are a plethora of Chinese options for diners in St. Petersburg, but this restaurant situated within the Grand Hotel Europe is by far the most prestigious. Waiters and waitresses in Chinese silk costume, extravagant decoration and, of course, a distinct lack of knives and forks all contribute to a very Chinese experience. You can have Chicken Shanghai (in oyster sauce).

Chopsticks chinese restaurant
Not a happy experience. The atmosphere is good but the food was really poor - neither authentic Chinese nor interestingly Western. Dreadful crispy duck, poor simple staples like sizzling beef in ginger etc etc. A very ordinary place - almost completely empty and not worth a second glance. By the way there are now some really good Oriental (Thai/Fusion etc) places around these days and the old hotel restaurants are just not worth the effort and cost.
