Located 45 minutes outside of Chiang Mai (free pickup and drop-off included), you will see some of Thailand's prized national parks. Stop off at a waterfall, visit a remote hill tribe village (where you can also choose to stay the night if you wish), and trek into the forest. But the main attraction of this trip is the treetop canopy ecotour, previously reserved solely for scientific researchers. Enjoy three hours of hopping from treetop to treetop through a 1500 year old rain forest. Traverse cables and sky-bridges, as you flit from one tree house to the next. It is exciting, yet also safe, and an eco-friendly way to enjoy nature leaving no carbon footprint. 10% of profits go to gibbon conservation. - Nora Dunn
