This tiny, cheap, and extremely popular restaurant that spills out on to the pavement specializes in sizzling homemade roti, a flat unleavened bread cooked on a hot plate just inside the door on the ground floor. Order them with curries (try the massaman) or sweet with banana and chocolate, and they arrive at the table crisp and hot. The restaurant has limited space: downstairs is busy and open, but upstairs hosts a small air-conditioned room with stools and folding tables. The picture menu also includes standards such as spring rolls and soups, but stick to the roti and you won't be disappointed.
