Located on the Sea of Marmara coast just west of Kumkapi, this place serves excellent south-eastern Turkish cuisine. Starters include delicacies such as sharp and crumbly tulum cheese and walnut spread. Meat dishes include pistachio and minced lamb kebab, which is much less fatty than those found in less refined kebab shops. The içli köfte(consisting of large meatballs with a cracked wheat and walnut batter and a hint of cinnamon) are superb. There's a comfortable no-smoking section and excellent views of the sea.
