Located four miles northeast of Apache Junction on Highway 88, Mining Camp Restaurant is family-friendly, so hoot and holler with the rest of the guests and enjoy live entertainment by a cowpoke with a sense of humor. The decor is authentically styled shanty town with mining equipment strewn here and there. Try the barbecue ribs or perhaps the beef or roast chicken with dressing. Come during the day for photo opportunities as scenic vistas encompass the Superstition Mountains. Before you mount up and head off into the sunset, take a peek around the restaurant's gift shop. You will find unique items as well as early mining information.
