Art work spanning over two centuries, the 19th and the 20th, are on display at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. Some of the contemporary art is also exhibited. Antiquarian artifacts made of wood, ceramic and stone and sculptures, are a rich treasure preserved here. Besides work on paper by American, Asian and European artists is on display. A store that has interestingly exclusive pictures and merchandise on sale is located within the museum. The Fresco Museum Cafe is offering light snacks during museum hours.
