This is a very unique bar in the center of Hollywood. Here, you can sip the expensive libation of your choice as you look down on the lights of Los Angeles from this transplanted Japanese mansion. The attached restaurant is good, but many ascend this hill just for the view. Be prepared to valet park—it is your only option. Take time to stroll through the eight acres of authentic gardens just below the bar. You can't get any closer to Japan without a passport.
