This family-friendly restaurant is a pleasant stop on the way back from Alpine, Lake Jennings or Julian. Old Highway 80 itself is filled with unusual antique shops and can provide a pleasant afternoon's browsing. The food here, like the Italian trattoria decor, is straightforward and traditional, with pasta in red sauces predominating. The Cheese Manicotti and Ravioli are special favorites with kids, and there is a large selection of pizzas. Early Bird specials run from 11:30a-6:30p. There is also a full bar serving cocktails, beer and wine.
