This San Diego landmark bookshop was established in 1935. The stock is mainly second-hand, with a sprinkling of new books to round out the selection. It is especially strong in ancient history and art (including fine and rare erotica), but virtually every subject is well represented here. A member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America, it also appraises rare books. Located in the heart of downtown east of Horton Plaza, it is on the north side of Broadway. Books can also be purchased by mail.
