(Rating: 4) Beautiful but difficult

I live near San Francisco and took the opportunity to take some friends visiting on the 49 Mile Scenic Drive. It gives a great view of the city, but if you don't know where the drive goes, it can be difficult. Looking for the Scenic Drive Signs while driving may not be the smartest idea in San Francisco. I suggest an alert navigator or a map so you don't rely on only the signs. I didn't manage to do the entire drive due to getting lost, but the things I saw were definitely worth it. I went places that I have never been, in all my years of living here! I would suggest devoting most of the day to this venture. It took me close to 3 hours to do only the portion I could find. We only stopped a couple of times. However, there are great opportunities to get out and explore the wonderful sights.
