Not very far from this outdoor dining restaurant is the very famous big wave surfing point. You can get your surfing tips as surfers often drop by at Half moon. Its proximity to the Pacific of course brings home the fresh sea food. Lobsters, squids are common on the menu. The avid drinker can try the many crafted beers brewed on the site. Most of the steaks are heavy and hefty, but a run along the coastline would make you forget it. Enjoy live bands playing around three to four times a week. Also in order to not let you freeze, the open patio is fixed with heaters at strategic places. Indoor diners can admire the Pillar Point Harbor view with or without the beer!

For beer lovers, but a bit pricey
I'm allergic to beer, so can't comment on the place's main draw. Have eaten here three times: The food is good (not great) and comes in generous portions—you definitely won't leave hungry—but prices are on the high side for what is supposed to be a casual place.
Good food, great beer and music!
I have been here easily over a hundred times, and have never been disappointed. While I prefer hanging out on the patio around one of the fireplaces, the bar area and dining room are equally comfortable. They also have bands 4-5 nights a week.
