Family-owned since 1956, this Italian-American restaurant is considered a Daly City institution. Order food to go then wait in the retro-ish cocktail lounge. Wednesday through Sunday nights, watch live entertainment. San Francisco and Peninsula residents continue to dine here year after year, be it because of the comfort food, the golden age decor that evokes its 50s past, or the courteous and professional service. Try house favorites like the New York steak and ravioli in a signature meat sauce, the linguini with clam sauce or the roast chicken and risotto.
