Le Colonial is one of my favorite restaurants in all of SF. Went there for the 4th time recently and have to say that the whole experience failed to measure up to earlier outings. The service was OK but not perfect. The food was muted and the quality of the seafood only so-so. The restaurant was about half full since it was a Wednesday night yet we were still sitted elbow to elbow to other parties (maybe they were down a few waiters?). Because I enjoyed it SOOOO much the previous three times, I'll probably go back. Hopefully this was an anomaly.
