Founded in 1987, this has become a very popular festival for classical music. Over a six-week span more than 20 concerts will fill the Vail Valley, with most of the shows taking place in the mountain-surrounded, open-air Ford Amphitheater for a stunning combination of sight and sound. The Rochester Philharmonic and the Colorado Children's Chorale are just a few of the musicians who be performing. Bach, Beethoven, Verdi, chamber, and even classical pop will all be offered. Ticket prices vary by concert; festival passes and group discounts available.
