The Lazy J, also home to the Vail Rod and Gun Club, has been continuously owned by the same family for almost a hundred years. From a large-scale ranching operation they have moved into the tourism and recreation business, offering fishing, shooting, and horseback riding as well as games like croquet and horseshoes in their massive yard. Memberships are available, or you can just visit for a day.
