This annual film festival makes the beautiful mountain town of Vail come alive with cinematographic life. Situated amidst snow covered peaks, independent filmmakers showcase their works throughout a jam packed four days. As you may well know, winter time in Vail also translates into skiing and snowboarding, and the film festival schedules it's screenings around the outdoor activities that take place during those months with afternoon and evening show times. The festival will showcase feature films, documentaries, shorts, extreme sports films, and student films. If you're a film buff who loves to ski, get the best of both worlds and make it to Vail for this once-a-year event.
