Vail does its part to celebrate a longstanding European tradition by tossing a three day Oktoberfest party in the month of September. It is timed just as the valley's aspen trees glow in gold, making for a perfect backdrop. German beer, European wines and traditional German cuisine from some of Vail's top restaurants are all offered. Music and street entertainment fills the village streets.
