This shop, located inside the Sonnenalp Resort, is one of the most beloved bookstores in the Vail Valley and beyond. Thousands of titles cram its shelves, ranging from fiction and sci-fi to history and biography. If you need some local information, there is also a slew of books detailing hiking and biking trails. Visitors longing for home can find a decent selection of newspapers, and the magazine section is impressive, too. In addition to a nice children's nook of books, the store also offers a kid's story hour.
