In a town that struggles to draw 500 people to watch a World Cup ski event, it amazingly has no problem in attracting 2000 people to watch rubber ducks race down the Roaring Fork River. Since 1992 the Aspen Rotary Club has sponsored this yearly event that benefits local youth organizations. You can adopt a rubber duck and if it is one of the first to finish you have a chance to win everything from a new car to local gift certificates. Live music and food make it an all-day event.
