This long-running establishment has continued to be one of the best places in the Washington area to see acoustic folk and bluegrass artists perform live. Light rock bands have also been known to take the stage. The performance space includes a stage, tables and a dance floor. The 500-seat hall has a roomy feel to it and provides an excellent setting for live performances. Birchmere serves typical pub fare like burgers, sandwiches, steaks and pasta.
